📊 Understanding Booking Statuses

Learn what each booking status means and what actions to take

PENDING ⏳ Waiting for Payment

Customer has completed the booking flow and received a payment link. They need to pay the deposit to confirm. If they don't pay within 30 minutes, the slot becomes available again.

CONFIRMED ✅ Booking Active

Customer has paid the deposit successfully! The booking is confirmed, their slot is reserved, and R1 has been deducted from your wallet. Both you and the customer have received WhatsApp confirmations. After the service is provided, mark it as complete.

COMPLETED 🎉 Service Delivered

You've marked this booking as complete after successfully providing the service. The customer automatically receives a WhatsApp message asking them to leave a review. This is the final successful state.

CANCELLED ❌ Booking Cancelled

The booking has been cancelled (by you or the customer). The appointment won't happen and the time slot becomes available for other customers.

NO SHOW 👻 Customer Didn't Arrive

The customer confirmed and paid their deposit but didn't show up for their appointment. Use the "👻 No Show" button on confirmed bookings in your Dashboard when customers miss their scheduled time without notice.
